According to official statements from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, the country's systems successfully engaged and neutralized 97 ballistic missiles and 283 drones launched toward Kuwaiti territory since the onset of Iran's retaliatory actions.

The interceptions come as part of a broader wave of Iranian missile and drone strikes across several Gulf states, triggered by recent U.S. and Israeli military operations against targets in Iran. These operations, which began over the weekend, have drawn sharp responses from Tehran, with attacks extending beyond military installations to include civilian infrastructure in neighboring countries.

Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, the official spokesperson for Kuwait's Ministry of Defense, confirmed the figures in a public statement.
